BLUEBIRD Care Tamworth and Lichfield has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Tamworth and Lichfield Small Business of the Year Award.
This Award is part of the Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield & Tamworth and Cannock Chase Annual Awards Celebration hosted by the Birmingham Chambers of Commerce.
The awards are designed to recognise the remarkable achievements of businesses in the local area over the last year and a virtual awards ceremony will take place on 28 January 2021.
Bluebird Care Tamworth and Lichfield have been operating since 2018, providing high-quality home care and specialising in caring for people with dementia, physical and learning difficulties and working alongside their families.
The team at Bluebird Care Tamworth and Lichfield have a clear vision for the future of the business, they are looking to expand to cover more of the surrounding areas and continue to support people to remain safe in their own homes. The home care provider will also continue to raise money for local charities.
Care Assistants at Bluebird Care Tamworth and Lichfield have continued to go above and beyond for their customers throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. One Care Assistant who was also a qualified hairdresser even offered to cut the hair of customers when hairdressers were not open.
Bluebird Care Tamworth and Lichfield have also provided extra visits to those who needed it during lockdown. Whether that meant an extra half an hour check-up call every day or a two-hour companionship visit to keep their customer’s company, as they are unable to get out as they normally do.
Customers often write thank you cards to show gratitude to the Care Assistants at Bluebird Care Tamworth and Lichfield, one card received recently said: “From the bottom of our hearts, I cannot say thank you enough for your support and hard work caring for my parents”.

The Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield & Tamworth and Cannock Chase Annual Awards Celebration 2021 will take place online this year due to COVID restrictions.
The digital awards ceremony will recognise the remarkable achievements of both businesses and young professionals across the four geographical areas over the past 12 months.
