Bannatyne Group opens new cafe bar at Tamworth health club

June 8, 2018

The BANNATYNE Group has invested £160,000 in an exciting new café bar at its Tamworth health club, which offers members and spa guests healthy eating options in well-appointed surroundings.

The brand-new café bar at the club, located at Bitterscote, is part of an ongoing programme of investment by The Bannatyne Group at all of its health clubs, spas and hotels.

It is designed with the comfort and convenience of guests in mind, with TVs, flooring and furniture that is both attractive and functional.  It will also offer members free Wi-Fi.

The Bannatyne Café Bar offers a range of Starbucks coffee and an array of dishes, the majority of which contain less than 500 calories, with the nutritional value clearly displayed on the menu, allowing customers to monitor their calorie and protein intake as part of their health and wellbeing regime.  In addition, the offering caters for spa guests looking for something a little more indulgent during their pampering sessions.

Members at the club now also benefit from the latest technology with a new wristband system B:360, which enables members to access the health club facilities, use the lockers, engage with MyWellness and enjoy the simplicity of contactless payment.

Dean Fellows, General Manager at Bannatyne Health Club Tamworth, said: “I am very pleased with the new café bar, which is a fantastic addition to the health club and provides members and customers with a relaxing area to enjoy a snack, meal or a cup of Starbucks coffee.

“The café bar has an extensive menu and had become popular very quickly with our members and spa guests.”

Justin Musgrove, Chief Executive at The Bannatyne Group, said: “We are continually investing in our clubs and spas to ensure members and spa guests receive the very best experience possible.   I’m delighted that members and guests at our Tamworth club can now benefit from their new Bannatyne café bar.”
