A MAN has been arrested following a raid in Lichfield this morning (22 November).
Officers from Staffordshire Police executed a warrant at an address on The Pines at around 8am.
As a result of the raid, a 29-year-old man from Lichfield has been arrested on suspicion of driving when disqualified, dangerous driving and failing to stop for the police and failing to stop following a road traffic collision.
The road traffic collisions happened on Abnalls Lane on 16 November and Eastern Avenue on 6 September.
A car was also seized by officers.
Mark Smith, Chief Inspector of Lichfield, said: “This operation is part of our aim to tackle vehicle related crime in the area.
“We want to bring offenders to justice and will continue to take positive action aginst those who engage in such activity.”
