APPEAL: Police hunt ‘Masked Burglars’ in Nuneaton

Officers are appealing for witnesses to an aggravated burglary that occurred at a home in College Street, Nuneaton at 19.30hours on the evening of Sunday, 9 February 2014.

The robbery occurred when five males wearing masks and dark clothing entered the back of the house and threatened the occupants.

The males stole jewellery and a small amount of cash before leaving on foot, running through the back garden and may have got into a vehicle parked nearby.

Following the incident one of the occupants was treated by ambulance staff for shock.

A Police Spokesperson said;
“This is believed to be an isolated incident.”

Officers including a police dog team made an immediate search of the area.

Officers investigating the robbery are asking the public to please contact them if they noticed any suspicious activity in the general area of College Street during Sunday afternoon up to and including the time of the robbery at 19.30hours.
