Appeal for witnesses after teenage driver dies
POLICE investigating a fatal collision in north Warwickshire on Saturday, April 25, are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
The collision happened on Trinity Road at about 00.30hrs and involved a lorry and a black Vauxhall Corsa.
The driver of the Corsa, an 18 year old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The lorry driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries but was released after treatment.
Tamworth Informed are not releasing the identity of the woman involved until the formal identification process has been completed and all close family members have been informed.
Our thoughts are with all those involved.
Investigating officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, or saw either vehicle and the manner in which they were being driven before the collision occurred.
