Appeal after man dies following M6 collision

A ROAD traffic collision on the M6 southbound between junctions 14 and 13 this afternoon has resulted in a man dying.

A collision occurred between a lorry and a man on the M6 at around 12:30pm today (15 July).

Officers from the Central Motorway Police Group and the Collision Investigation Unit, alongside the West Midlands Ambulance Service, attended and unfortunately a man was pronounced dead at around 1pm.

The entire southbound carriageway remained closed for a number of hours as police investigated the circumstances of the collision.
