Appeal after car-key burglaries

OFFICERS from Tamworth Local Policing Team are appealing for information following car key burglaries in Tamworth.

Police received a call at 2.30am on the morning of Saturday (6 February), reporting a burglary at a house in Swallowfield. Offenders broke into the house and stole cash and car keys before stealing a locked and secure white VW Golf GTi from the driveway. (Incident number 98 of 6 February).

In a second incident, during the early hours of Saturday morning (6 February) offenders broke into a second house in Swallowfield, through the conservatory and stole an iPhone 5S, an iphone 5C, cash and car keys to numerous vehicles, including a blue Audi S3. They then stole the Audi from the driveway. (Incident number 142 of 6 February)
