86-year-old robbed and left seriously injured
POLICE are appealing for information after an 86-year-old pensioner was victim of a robbery today.
Warwickshire police are looking for anyone who was close to Attleborough Road, Nuneaton at 130pm today, 19 May 2016, following the report of this horrendous crime.
The victim was walking along Caernarfon Drive, when a lone male offender riding a bicycle has approached her from behind and snatched her handbag.
The victim was thrown to the floor and was seriously injured.
DS 423 Bower of Nuneaton CID is investigating and asks anyone in the area at this time who saw either the victim or a suspicious male on a bicycle in the area or who finds a small black shoulder bag to call 101 quoting incident 214 – 19/05/2016. Police remain in the area, conducting enquiries and looking for the offender.

Around about 2 months ago coming out of a car park in birmingham we witnessed a mugging 2 young asian girls they were having their bags snatched ! We caught this on our car camera 😀 the girls reported it to the police i told them we have it on film and to this day the police are yet to come and collect our footage 😡😡 the police are not bothered for all they know this could be the person they are looking for 😡 i have lost all faith in our police after this JUST NOT BOTHERED AT ALL

If they caught the person and it was admitted, they wouldn’t need the footage.
They could have lost your contact details maybe? Have you chased them up to see?
My point about it being a different force was that you can’t let a bad experience of one incident with one force affect your opinion of police as a whole.
Well i doubt they did catch the person because the girls and i exchanged numbers and they never told me they caught the person x they said they would tell me if they did

So because some random people didn’t phone you to tell you something you automatically assume that the offenders weren’t caught? Perhaps the victims realised you were a bit lonely (and possibly had a mild case of the mentals) and thought better of calling you for fear of you thinking they were suddenly your best friend and being stalked for the rest of their lives? Or, could it be the police used proper CCTV footage, and caught the offenders so didn’t need your footage and the victims lost your number or just forgot to tell you as they didn’t think you were frothing at the mouth as much as you clearly are.
In fairness I did 30 in the cops. And I don’t give a shit about her.
