CCTV images released in connection with railway station robbery

Nuneaton Railway Station appeal

OFFICERS from British Transport Police would like to speak to these people in connection with a robbery at Nuneaton railway station.

At around 10.15pm on Saturday 20 October, the victim, a 45-year-old man, was approached by a man and a woman outside the station.

The man grabbed the victim’s arm and demanded money, then racially abused him.

The victim ran to his car in the station car park and was followed by the offenders.

The male offender continued shouting abuse at the victim and as the victim tried to drive away the offender opened the passenger door and punched the victim in the face, causing his glasses to break.

He then searched the victim’s pockets and took a rucksack from the passenger seat.

The victim managed to recover his bag before driving away.

Officers would like to speak to the people shown in the CCTV images as they may have information which could help the investigation.
