AWARD-WINNING stage school Enact Academy is expanding to new locations after six years of success in Tamworth.
The performing arts school was established in 2011 and has now moved to a bigger location in Mile Oak, as well as setting up an extra Friday evening class in Kingsbury.
Enact Academy principal Alex Farrell said: “We are very excited to be expanding to Mile Oak and Kingsbury as we continue to go from strength to strength. Performing arts has never been more popular, with more and more youngsters enjoying acting, singing and dancing, and parents wanting their children to grow in confidence.
“After six happy years we have decided we need more space as our Saturday classes grow in popularity, and Mile Oak Community Centre offers a large performance space with a stage and smaller breakout rooms for private classes.
“We are also starting Friday evening classes at Kingsbury Methodist Church for those who might not be able to make Saturdays – or maybe they want to do both! “
Enact Academy offers performing arts training for under 18 year olds, putting on three shows a year, and they recently won an award at Birmingham Fest 2017 for Best Adaptation.
Term starts this Saturday 9 September at Mile Oak Community Centre and evening classes launch on Friday 15 September at Kingsbury Methodist Church, with sessions costing £12 per week.
